Before You Join Online
A little preparation can make it easier to follow a service and stay connected with the church while watching from home or elsewhere.
If you are watching from outside Brisbane, check the time in your location before the service. The regular Sunday gathering starts at 10 am Brisbane time. The start time shown on a scheduled video is the best guide for that broadcast, especially when a special service is announced.
Open the NCHIC live stream a few minutes early so you can check the sound and make the video full screen if you wish. If the sound is quiet, check both the player volume and your device volume. On a slower connection, lowering the video quality can help if playback keeps stopping. Captions depend on the recording and the player, so check the caption button when available.
If several recordings have similar titles, check the date before pressing play. You can also share the direct video link with someone who wants to watch the same service. If you miss the start or cannot stay for the whole service, look for the recording on the church channel and continue when you have time.
